What we urgently need your help for right now: For people with cystinosis, everyday life is a constant challenge—medically, organizationally, and often financially. Many essential needs are not sufficiently covered. This is exactly where we step in. However, we depend on donations to do so.

When access to treatment becomes a burden: Specialized medical care is essential—but often only accessible through long journeys and additional costs. We help families overcome these obstacles so that necessary treatments do not fail due to lack of money.

When care requires more than standard solutions: Cystinosis affects many organs at the same time. Good treatment requires time, experience, and collaboration across different medical specialties. We specifically support the expansion of such specialized services.

When early diagnosis changes lives: The earlier cystinosis is detected, the better the course of the disease can be influenced. Advocating for newborn screening is therefore a crucial step—and at the same time a major financial challenge.

When hope depends on research: Rare diseases are often not the focus of research. We specifically fund projects that improve care and open up new perspectives—turning stagnation into progress.
